    Creating A Profitable Business!

One of the best ways to grow your business is to ask for help! And not just any help. Help from someone who has been there and created a successful business as well. If you're ready to grow your business, and are looking for the guidance to make your sales explode, and your marketing ideas fill with creativity, contact me today!

I currently have 4 openings for new clients. Due to my schedule, I work with a select few individuals a year, and once I have signed up these 4 new clients, I will again be closed to mentoring. If you are interested, please contact me today, as these openings will fill up quickly.

I look forward to working with you and your business!

    This Week's Lesson
    Making a Website With Purpose

Whether you're creating a new site, or reevaluating your old one, simplicity is the key. Don't go crazy with flash programs or heavy graphics. Make it simple to navigate, simple to understand the benefits you're offering, and simple to read.

Go back to the Rule of 3. You should never have more than 3 main ideas on any marketing piece. It becomes to confusing if you offer more information. The human mind can only digest so much before it begins to wander. Using the Rule of 3 is a good monitor for your web site as well. Create 3 main purposes for your home page. Then build on from there. Focus on exactly what you want your clients to do, then put that as your 3 main purposes.

On my sites, I try to accomplish 3 things. First, I want to capture email addresses so I can build up my list of potential clients that may purchase products and services from me. Second, I want to be an information resource. I want to be a place that people know they can get reliable information that will help them succeed in their business and personal lives. And third, I want to provide a reliable product to my clients. Anything more than 3 purposes would get confusing. It would be confusing for me to generate, and it would be hard for my visitors to comprehend. Having 3 main focuses on my site makes it clear in the minds of the reader as to the content that is provided, and what they can benefit from by being on my web site.

    This Week's Action Step
    Evaluate Your Website

When was the last time you looked through your website from your clients eyes? What do they see? Do they see a clear and concise site; easy to navigate; easy to find the information they want? Or do they have to hunt for what they are looking for, and end up leaving frustrated. It's easy to build a complex website with lots of information, but without a true purpose. Especially if you've been at it for several years, and continue adding new pages as your business grows. Growing it is easy. Making it make sense, and be a valuable resource is much more difficult.

Begin by discovering the 3 most popular reasons people come to your website. Then build your site with these 3 key points as the major navigational buttons on your site. Make these 3 reasons apparent from every aspect of your website. Build up your detail and your page content using these ideas. Be thorough in all of your information. And follow through by asking for the sale periodically throughout your site. Just like in a sales presentation, you must ask for a sale to make it a reality.

Then market your site! Make your website a part of your presentation. Make it the next best thing to seeing you in person. Make it another sales person - and think of it in that manner!

The Pursuit of WOW! by Tom Peters

This wonderful guide to life is filled with words, tips and tools that will help you down the road to success! The book is an easy read, or try it in tape format while you take a walk!

My favorite tip? Change is easy! Simply declare that today's the day you will make a change in your actions! It's maintaining that change every day of your life that's the hard part. You must take it one day at a time. Make a commitment to carrying change throughout your life. Create systems that will bring you forward one day at a time.
